Update times could be deferred by Windows 10 users

In the next round of Windows 10 updates, its users will be able to defer their software updates to a time which is more convenient for them. At present, Mac users have had this joy for over a decade. With the timing of Microsoft Windows updates happening at less convenient times for some users, this change will give them some breathing space.
Instead of having to play by Microsoft’s rules, they can defer the timing of their next Windows updates within a three-day window. This latest change is part of Microsoft’s Creators Update. It is a small yet significant part in improving the user-friendliness of Windows 10.
He said: “What we heard back most explicitly was that you want more control over when Windows 10 installs updates,”
“We also heard that unexpected reboots are disruptive if they happen at the wrong time.”
That we fully understand ourselves. Especially if you’re doing something important like a dissertation, your tax returns or an important letter. From what we’ve seen about the Creators Update, being able to defer your software updates is only part of a host of goodies. Goodies which include improved 3D features, and support for online gaming. This year could be an exciting one for Microsoft.
